Welcome to the latest update from Westcoast’s Brexit team. Whilst the only current certainty is uncertainty – Westcoast continue as advised by HMRC to prepare for a ‘no-deal’ exit on 31st October. Management feel as ready as we can be with shipping documentation created, teams in place for tax and customer shipments, a regular assessment of import tariffs on products we sell and a view on those we export and a strengthened customer services team to manage customer queries.
Non-Original print supplies can be tempting for businesses and end-users alike. The market offers everything from non-branded imitation products, to counterfeits that are made to look like the real thing. At both ends of the scale, non-Original products tend to be cheaper and, at least initially, seem to work. But supplies that aren’t manufacturer-approved may cause damage to printers, the environment, and even the health of users.
