Last night we attended the CRN Women in Channel Awards where Westcoast had 12 fabulous women shortlisted for awards. This morning we are delighted to confirm that Westcoast had two winners:
- Emma Sines - who won the Unsung Hero award
- Anita Wosket - who won the Manager of the Year award
We are so proud of all the nominees and the two winners last night, who represent our company so well. We're proud to have you leading the way for diversity in the channel.
Alex Tatham, Managing Director said:
“With apologies to Oscar Wilde “To win one award may be regarded as great but to win two looks like fabulousness!” It was a privilege to sit and cheer for the Westcoast and Westcoast Cloud women that had been shortlisted and celebrate with both Anita and Emma for their spectacular victory. So proud of them and our company!
Anita Wosket cares about representing women in the channel deeply. I remember the whoop of delight when Anita was shortlisted so to see her win left me bursting with joy. She is so deserving of the accolade of Manager of the Year but mostly being the best of Westcoast and a role model for the entire industry.
If there is an award to bring everyone at Westcoast joy, it must be Emma Sines award as the Unsung Hero of the Year. Emma’s modesty and diligence shine for all to see that know her and now the entire company and IT channel can see it too. From her unstinting charity efforts to her championing of Westcoast’s licensing, Emma is an example to us all. Please take time out to congratulate her. I will never stop!”
A couple of our nominees also attended last night who said the below:
"Being nominated has been one of the proudest moments of my career, and I was so proud to be at the awards representing Westcoast. Celebrating with my fellow nominees was a wonderful experience and one I will treasure!" - Sadie Masson
"I really enjoyed myself, the atmosphere was buzzing and the energy in the room was something I have missed over the past 18months. Seeing Anita and Emma win was great, truly deserved award winners and the whole team was behind them when their names was called. It’s certainly given me the drive to want to achieve this award in the future!" - Adele Quinn
Congratulations once again!
