As you will be aware, 1 January 2021 marks the first day where the UK will no longer be part of the EU. Hewlett Packard Enterprise remains focused on accelerating readiness to ensure a smooth exit, and as a result need to make some internal changes to reflect the new terms. These changes will affect HPE & Aruba orders in the short term.
Here at Westcoast, we are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible for our valued partners, helping you navigate these changes to ensure your HPE business continues to thrive. With this in mind, please review these key dates:
29 - 2 January:
- Orders received by HPE will not receive an order number or expected shipment date until early January
2 - 4 January
All backlog will be cleared over the weekend (2-3 January)Once HPE IT team have confirmed a successful system update ordering will resume (for Aruba only POs, orders will resume 5th)
Transit delay after Brexit:
A potential result of Brexit is delays at ports leading to increased transit time, HPE will monitor and mitigate where possible. To reduce risk please ensure all orders are received to enable clean order booking by HPE Q1 cut off dates.
We encourage you to plan ahead and place orders before 15 December. Thereafter any orders received will likely not be fulfilled until HPE have successfully changed their systems.
Westcoast aim to communicate further operational details in the next couple of weeks however if you do have urgent questions, please do not hesitate to contact your Westcoast Account Manager or email the team directly: Technologysolutions@westcoast.co.uk
