October 2022: An update on our Andover warehouse

The opportunity Westcoast's Andover warehouse provides is immense - just like the warehouse itself - 460,000 square feet of flexible space with a huge configuration and PDI centre.
Since opening in 2020, the warehouse management systems, highly trained staff and wire-guided forklifts have allowed us to confidently handle even the largest of projects quickly and cost-effectively.

This week, we are pleased to share our latest investment at our Andover warehouse – a new sortation system.
So, what does this mean?
It will allow for:
- Improved ergonomics for our people and improved KPIs
- Automated sortation of up to 2000 parcels per hour
- Improved productivity and efficiency levels
- Accurate data and timestamps on each shipment
- Increased throughput and production capacity
- Extending our Cutoff time with an improved sortation for our Parcel Carriers
This is an exciting change and is the first step to automation, ensuring continued innovation at the heart of everything Britain’s biggest privately-owned IT business does.
