MEET THE TEAM TAKING ON THE LONDON MARATHON, AS THEY FUNDRAISE FOR CANCER RESEARCH UK

Fundraising is well under way at Westcoast, with some of our fabulous employees already training for the London Marathon.
Faye Langford and Greg Hall will be tackling this mighty race on the 23rd of April, while raising money for Cancer Research UK.
A mixture of nerves and excitement is what Faye is feeling as she will be taking part of such an important event. Faye already started a 16-week training plan and will be completing a half marathon in Windsor, as part of her preparation.
“This is my first ever London Marathon, I am eager to take on a new challenge after running my first half marathon in 2021. I would love to raise money for cancer research as growing up I watched loved ones have cancer and the money goes towards such a good cause.”, Faye Langford.
Greg is feeling confident and well prepared for the event as he already takes part in multiple marathons and half marathons, every month. Last year, Greg managed to run and cycle over 9000 km.
“I have always been heavily involved in running and completed many marathons and ultra-marathons in the past and London has always been on my bucket list to do. I lost my father in 2019 to a long battle with cancer and therefore when the opportunity came to run for Cancer Research, I jumped at the opportunity to raise money for a cause close to me.”, Greg Hall.
We will follow Faye and Greg’s progress closely and look forward to cheering them on, during that magnificent run.
