Throughout November, our wonderful Westcoast squad have volunteered to take part in the Business Esports Corporate Gaming FIFA 20 tournament, where any funds we raise will be donated to our 2020 chosen charity, the NSPCC. This year, Westcoast have committed to support the incredible work which the NSPCC do, where funds are even more vital during this testing time.

Following Westcoast’s most recent Brexit meeting, we are delighted to submit an update to our customers and suppliers regarding Westcoast’s own plans for Brexit. Our preparations are based on the assumption that there will be no European Free Trade Agreement in place by 1 January 2021.

Last month, Westcoast were announced as the first sponsor of the Logistics Manager Magazine Top 50 Service Providers 2020 - now the countdown is on, as there are only three months to go until the reveal begins. The reveal will begin on Monday 30th November 2020, counting down to the 'number one success story' in UK logistics and supply chain on Friday 4th December.

Since the opening of our new Andover warehouse, Westcoast has won a number of contracts of varying sizes, and there are more conversations taking place still. All of these wins are contributing to making Andover a truly industry-leading powerhouse.

Whilst the UK has exited the European Union at the start of the year, no real changes in trading conditions has been experienced as a result. This will not be true if the UK and the EU cannot agree a trade deal at the end of 2020. Recent reports have shown the Cabinet Office preparing for widespread disruption should such a scenario coincide with a second wave of Coronavirus in the UK.
