Pre Delivery Inspection

Have your customers ever had a project held up due to a DOA printer? Or a brand new multi-function printer that nobody knows how to set up? Or even worse the wrong printer has arrived? With our Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) on all printers you never have to worry about you customers having these issues again.

This service is designed to remove the inconvenience and decrease any downtime of printer installation. By preconfiguring the printers before they arrive on-site this means that the customer can have a plug in and print experience with all the disruption these installations can cause removed.

As well as preconfiguring the machines the PDI service can also offer to floor location delivery, connect, unpack and package removal, and even machine demonstration if required.

Plus we can configure any printer whether we stock it or not!

Our standard PDI package for A4, A3 and wide format printers includes:

  • Unbox

  • Install cartridges 

  • Initialise/calibrate 

  • Setup date/time/location

  • Set up paper trays - size and media type

  • Test ADF/scanner assembly (MFP only)

  • Run test print to asses PQ performance

  • Repackage Box itinerary check
