Westcoast can offer a rework service so saving time when deploying units to site whether this be adding screen protectors, removing excess packing, bundling items, installing Sim cards etc. We have the flexibility to build an adhoc service that is tailored for your customer’s needs.
Westcoast offers pre-shipment services ranging from straightforward configurations, through to design and testing for the most complex projects. Services include hardware build, OS installation, enclosure build, DOA boot up testing and 24-hour soak testing.
Westcoast configuration centre was designed with scalability in mind. We have the ability to image 120 units in unison.
Our in-house deployment servers can push images to each node on our network. This can quickly be changed to accommodate bespoke customer builds such as Microsoft Deployment Kit (MDT), Servers or Systems Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) servers. The configuration centre enables our customer to have connectivity to build servers 24 hours a day if required.
Westcoast can install VPN access to a dedicated customer network or host a customer supplied deployment server. Our image technicians will work closely with you to ensure we help deploy any image to specific customer requirements or work with the end user to create the master images.
Our configuration team can asset tag just about anything. And we can get rid of time delays by labelling and documenting hardware before it even arrives on site, so it can be deployed straightaway.
Westcoast runs its own laser etching services you can use across a wide range of products. Your customers can designate anything from company names and asset numbers to personal messages – particularly handy in schools and other public-sector organisations.
Westcoast does a wide variety of imaging on client machines. This we have expanded to Muira and EPOS till systems.
If you don’t have the space for stock, Westcoast will hold your resources in our own warehouse for you and ship them straight to your end user when required. You’ll also enjoy greater visibility of your supply chain through electronic ordering, since it automates reporting and invoicing. Taken together, it means significant cost savings and more efficient purchasing.

Delivery services including Kerbside, Timed, Placement and Relocation.
Westcoast offers a standard next day delivery service that is completely track and trace. In addition, we also have the ability to do specialised deliveries that can be timed, placement to desk, or relocation of goods.
Westcoast in addition to deliver can take items to desk and set up all equipment as required and connect to the customer network. These can simple or detailed as required. This service can be personalised for the customer needs. As with all project work, we will work together on a detailed service requirement in a Statement of Work.
Westcoast can also remove IT packaging from customer site and ensure its is disposed of in the correct manner. Many project works produce a lot of waste and many customer own needs will be easily overloaded by excess waste.
Westcoast’s service can also include onsite engineers or remote installations to fully network install the device once they arrive onsite.

Westcoast can removal of all old IT in a safe and controlled manner following 5 simple steps:
- Agree a list of devices for collection
- Attend site with security cleared engineers, collect devices in secure containers
- Containers returned to central hub for data wiping and assessment
- Remarket, refurbish, or recycle items – tailored to customer requirements
- Detailed report delivered, along with data erasure and / or destruction certificates for each data bearing device processed
Westcoast can offer an IT buyback scheme. The service provides a valuation of the redundant IT estate, based on current market conditions and grading of the equipment. This enables customers to plan budgets in advance and factor in the resale values before projects commence.
All IT product that is removed from a customer site will be data wiped using industry standard approved software, Blancco. The process includes data erasure, audit reports and certificates of destruction / recycling.
Onsite and offsite shredding is available from Westcoast.
Our hard drive destruction and secure shredding service ensures you keep information confidential and secure. As a standard service we offer an industry leading 11mm particles system and also have the ability to shred to 6mm which is the standard for MOD.
